Valve Length Selection Guide

To ensure the pump head locks securely, we recommend the following maximum rim height (rim depth) limits:

  • Package Contents: The listed price is for 1 Set (1 valve). For use on one bicycle (front and rear wheels), you will need 2 Sets.

  • Valve Core Note: During first use, the valve core may feel slightly tight when being removed due to the factory assembly process. This is normal. Use the valve core removal tool on the valve cap to loosen it gradually. After the first removal, subsequent removal and installation will be easier.

  • Installation Advice: Simply tighten the lock nut (lock nut) by hand. Excessive use of tools (pliers) is not recommended, as it may damage the rubber seal or rim surface.

How to Replace the Strummer Tubeless Valve Rubber

To avoid damaging the product, follow the instructions below to replace the rubber on the valve. For greater comfort and to reduce discomfort in your hands/fingers, wear gloves.

Remove the locking part, then reinstall the valve cap. This valve cap will serve as a stop when pushing the rubber downward.

Use a soft surface to prevent damage to the product and to keep it from shifting while pushing the rubber downward. We tried using a mouse pad and found it quite effective. Make sure the valve cap is fully tightened. Push the rubber downward with the fingers of your left and right hands until it touches the valve cap.

Remove the valve cap. Tighten the valve core to prevent it from bending. Grip the left side of the product with your left hand. Slowly pull the rubber to the right with your right hand.

Once the rubber has been removed, install the appropriate rubber for your needs. Insert the rubber by pushing it in from the back. Damage may occur if removal and installation are not performed according to the instructions. We recommend that users do not remove and install the rubber unless necessary.
