  • The Frame & Fork and Hub categories have a 1-year warranty period in accordance with the applicable product category terms.
  • Other categories such as bike trainers & bike rollers, carbon rims, wheelsets, suspension forks, handlebars & drop bars, bar tape, MTB grips, seatposts, saddles, pedals, chainwheels & chainrings, cassette sprockets, bottom brackets, pumps, and digital calipers follow their respective warranty periods according to the details for each product category.

Warranty Claim Requirements & Procedure

Mandatory claim requirements
  • Unedited package-opening video
    The video must be recorded without cuts or editing, starting before the package is opened and continuing until the product and all its contents are clearly visible, including the shipping label or receipt.
  • Official purchase receipt
    The receipt must clearly state the store name and purchase date. Modified or incomplete receipts cannot be accepted.
  • Damage to the outer packaging
    Damage to the outer packaging during shipping is not Strummer's responsibility as long as it does not affect the product's condition. Complaints may be submitted directly to the shipping carrier.
  • Additional costs
    The warranty does not cover shipping costs or installation service fees.
Investigation notes and claim decision
  • Strummer reserves the right to request additional evidence to investigate a claim.
  • Strummer may repair or replace the product with a similar product or one with equivalent functionality.
  • Strummer may use refurbished spare parts if a new unit is unavailable.
  • A claim may be rejected if misuse, modification, use outside specifications, or a proven fraudulent or dishonest claim history is found.

Normal Wear and Consumable Components (Not Covered by Warranty)

The warranty does not cover normal wear resulting from use or consumable components. This includes decreases in performance or changes in condition that occur naturally due to use and service life, as well as conditions affected by the environment or maintenance. If a material or manufacturing defect is found, the warranty terms for the relevant product category still apply, except for bearings in hubs and bottom brackets, which are not covered by the product warranty.

  • Corrosion, oxidation, or discoloration caused by the environment

Normal wear or consumable components cannot be claimed as product defects simply because they occur during the warranty period.

  • Damaged due to misuse

Warranty does not cover components that wear out or are consumed through normal use, including but not limited to:

  • Rubber seals
  • Rubber and O-rings
  • Valves and internal valve components
  • Paint, finish, and stickers

Valve components may wear out or become damaged after use over a certain period. Damage caused by such use is considered normal wear and cannot be claimed under the warranty. Strummer provides replacement valve parts that can be purchased separately if needed.
