Attention: The tools on this page allow you to select combinations of hubs and rims that are not always compatible (for example, a hub for rim brakes paired with a rim for disc brakes). Additionally, the selected rim may not be available in the number of spoke holes that match your chosen hub. Be sure to double-check the stock and specifications of each component before making a purchase.
Note for Straightpull Hubs: Currently, the Strummer spoke calculation system does not support automatic calculations for Straightpull Hub types such as the HR-500, HR-700, and HR-800 models. Attention: This guide is intended to provide general information and should not be used as the sole reference for determining spoke size. There may be reasonable variations/tolerances in spoke size (spokes) of +/- 1 mm depending on the brand and type of nipple used during the measurement of ERD or wheelset assembly. Differences may also arise from the rounding process of the results obtained during calculations. It is recommended to measure and recalculate before assembly (using the brand and type of spokes & nipples that will be used in the wheelset assembly process). It is advisable to consult a professional bicycle mechanic or manufacturer specifications before assembling the wheelset. Using the wrong spoke size can threaten safety and lead to wheel structure failure. Always take appropriate precautions and follow manufacturer guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself and others when working on your bicycle.
