Wheelbuilding Guide for Strummer Hubs (Spoke Size)

This guide was created to help determine the correct spoke size when assembling a Strummer wheelset. This guide can be used as a reference, but it is important to remember that there is a possibility of inaccurate information due to changes in product sizes/specifications, or user error when inputting data.

Using the wrong spoke size can be life-threatening. safety and wheel structure failure. Lacing recommendation: We recommend 3 crosses for 28H and 32H, 2 cross for 24H.

Road (Rim-Brake) Wheelset Build
The Strummer road rim-brake wheelset features OLD 9x100mm front & 10x130mm rear. This wheelset has standard compatibility with Shimano groupsets (Cassette Sprocket HG Road System). Freehub bodies compatible with SRAM groupsets (Cassette Sprocket XDR System) are available for some Strummer hub types (sold separately, limited availability).

Road (Disc Brake) & Gravel Wheelset Build
Strummer wheelset for road disc-brake hadith with OLD front 12x100 mm & rear 12x142 mm when assembled using Strummer HR-360 hub. For bicycle owners with different fork or frame sizes, don't worry, we provide end caps (adapters) measuring 9x100 mm for the front hub. For the rear hub, end caps (adapters) are available in sizes 10x135 mm & 10x142 mm. The HR-360 strummer hub is suitable for use with shimano groupsets that have standard HG Road cassette sprockets. Freehub bodies compatible with SRAM groupsets (Cassette Sprocket XDR System) are available for some Strummer hub types (sold separately, limited supply).

The wheelset below is not assembled with standard road bike hubs. The Strummer HM-280/HM-350/HM-380 hubs are standard MTB hubs.Using standard MTB hubs can damage the compatibility with road bike groupsets (especially 11-Speed and 12-Speed).
