Center Alignment Design (CAD)
Through Strummer Center Alignment Design (CAD), our headset and bottom bracket meet cyclists’ needs.
The Strummer bottom bracket with a CAD system increases stiffness and pedaling efficiency by balancing the left and right sides of the BB. It also helps frames that were not manufactured perfectly.
The Strummer headset improves bicycle performance by eliminating unnecessary clamping on the fork axle without compromising performance.
Tubeless Straight Side (TSS)
Also commonly known as hookless, these rims have a shape specifically designed for tubeless use. They cannot be fitted with clincher tires. Tubeless Straight Side (TSS) is an evolution of the existing Tubeless Ready System (TRS).
Rims with this technology are lighter, produce a rounder tire profile when mounted (giving them better characteristics while cycling), and have greater volume for the same external width (which lowers tire pressure, improves tire grip, and increases comfort).
Tubeless Ready System (TRS)
These are rims commonly referred to as “Tubeless.” The advantage of these rims is the flexibility they offer cyclists. They can be set up tubeless after installing the appropriate tubeless rim tape on the bike.
If you do not want to use tubeless tires, you can also use tires with a clincher system. One advantage of the tubeless system is lower rolling resistance.
Integrated Cable Routing (ICR)
A system for organizing cables to improve the neatness and aerodynamics of the bicycle. A headset with the Strummer ICR system allows a bicycle previously using an external cable routing system to be converted to internal routing. The Strummer ICR headset also prevents water from entering the system by using rubber seals in strategic areas.
Offset Spoke Hole (OSH)
Strummer rims with offset spoke holes (not centered) increase the strength of the assembled wheelset. The spoke angles and tension on the left and right sides of the wheelset can be adjusted more evenly.
Hidden Fork Riser (HFR)
A solution for a bicycle fork steerer tube that has been cut too short. The Strummer HFR system allows cyclists to safely raise the stem mounting position. This fork riser can be safely installed on carbon, aluminum, and steel forks.
Ultralight Technology
The Strummer sprocket with Ultralight technology uses AL7075-T6 material for the large gears to significantly reduce weight. Steel is still used for the small gears to provide strength at the ratios most frequently used.
Superdura Technology
The Strummer Superdura sprocket is the best sprocket we can make at present. It uses modern technology and materials, along with further CNC machining. The material used is stronger to support this process. The result is a component that is lighter & stronger than the Strummer ultralight cassette sprocket.
T700 & T800 Blend
The Strummer Aeroflow Extreme carbon rim uses a blend of T700 & T800 to achieve greater stiffness & strength.
