Installation Instructions
Remove the spring and star ratchet found on the hub (Total 4 Pieces: 2 Springs + 2 Star Ratchets).
Since the condition when the integrated 60T star ratchet is shipped is ungreased, use Strummer Pawl & Ratchet Special Grease to lubricate the mechanism between the newly purchased ratchet gears.
If the hub is new, the Strummer Integrated 60T Star Ratchet can be directly installed on the hub (White part on the inside, red part on the outside near the sprocket).
If the hub is not new, clean the hub to ensure optimal installation of the new star ratchet.
For hubs that do not support the integrated ratchet system (Example: Strummer HR-360 Ratchet Gen-2 Rear Hub, Strummer HR-500 Rear Hub, Strummer HR-700 Rear Hub, etc.), remove the integrated system. Take 2 pieces of black ratchet gears and install them on your hub/wheelset. For the spring, use the original part obtained when purchasing the hub/wheelset.
