Strummer HR-20 Ratchet is one of the best hubs you can get for your road bike with a rim-brake mechanism. Designed to be fast on the road, quick through corners, lightweight on climbs, and durable enough to resist water, dust, and other elements that might come its way. Driving the bike forward is a 36T ratchet mechanism, providing 10° degrees of engagement and solid power transfer from your pedals to your wheels.
This ratchet mechanism can be further upgraded to 60T, resulting in a quicker response when pedaling from a stop. The 60T star ratchet upgrade will improve the engagement angle to an astonishing 6° degrees.
Every single hub is precision-manufactured with a mix of AL6061-T6 and AL7075-T6 alloy, finished, and anodized to our high standards. Our range of hubs boasts a wide variety of options and accessories to fit different axle sizes, spoke-hole drillings, disc-brake rotor mountings, cassette sprocket systems, and colors.
