The Strummer HR-10 4-Pawl Hub is designed for cyclists who want smooth and efficient wheel rotation without sacrificing durability. Equipped with a 4-pawl system, this hub offers an optimal degree of engagement (responsive without being excessive), allowing speed to be maintained while coasting. With HG system compatibility for cassettes, this hub can be paired with various cassette sprockets and groupsets. In addition, it supports up to 12-speed HG road sprockets, providing greater flexibility for various types of bicycle components.
In developing the HR-10 hub, we studied the factors that affect smooth rotation with minimal resistance. One of the main aspects we identified was the use of high-precision bearings. In addition, the design and quality of the hub body also play a crucial role.
We apply a high-precision CNC machining process, one of the best in its class, to ensure that the bearings are installed without excessive pressure and that the applied pressure is evenly distributed from all sides. Strummer's CAD (Center Alignment Design) technology further perfects this balance, ensuring that the bearings are installed precisely in the center of the hub body according to our strict standards.
