Strummer Directset™, as the name suggests, means that the bearings go directly into the head tube. Campagnolo compatible. Compatible with a 42 mm head tube and a non-tapered fork.
The sealed bearings used in this headset adhere to the JIS Standard and use high-carbon chromium steel. After heat treatment, the bearings have high hardness, a uniform surface, good stability, and corrosion resistance.
The top cover of the headset features an O-Ring to prevent water ingress into the bearings. Bolts on the star nut cover are also covered with rubber to further prevent water ingress. Dust cover is also used on the top cover of the headset. This prevents grime buildup in the components.
