This bike trainer is suitable for bicycles with a quick release skewer system, with a rear hub size of 10x135 mm up to 10x142 mm. For bicycles equipped with a thru axle system, we offer a compatible axle for the bike trainer of 12x142 mm with thread sizes P1.0, P1.5, and P1.75 (sold separately). This axle may also be suitable for 12x148 mm bicycles under certain conditions (please contact us for further discussion).
For optimal experience, we recommend using tires with a smooth tread to minimize jolts and reduce noise while using the bike trainer. It is very important to ensure that the trainer is installed correctly and securely. If you are using the Strummer thru axle trainer with the BT-10 trainer, make sure to install the spacer correctly to maintain the necessary distance between the trainer's clamping system and your bicycle frame, to prevent unwanted scratches/damage.

Connection with Garmin
If you have a bike computer (cyclocomp) from Garmin (with Bluetooth feature), you can connect it to the trainer. Turn on the sensor on the trainer by pedaling the bicycle (so the sensor will activate). Then connect this BT-10 trainer as a power meter.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the BT-10 perform ERG mode?
The Strummer BT-10 trainer does not yet support ERG mode.
Can the BT-10 measure cadence?
Cadence cannot be measured yet. You need to purchase a cadence sensor separately to obtain this data.
Does the BT-10 feel heavier when going uphill in Zwift?
The BT-10 trainer does not support this. This trainer can only read the power you output while pedaling the bicycle.
