Strummer Hub Rubber Seal

The rubber seals on Strummer hubs are reinforced on the inside to increase strength and durability. This structure helps keep the seal's shape stable during long-term use.

However, like rubber components in general, the seal will still deteriorate over time. Regular inspection is recommended when cleaning the hub. If the seal has deteriorated, replace it immediately to prevent dirt and water from entering, which could affect the hub's performance and service life.

Installation Instructions:

Remove the freehub body and rubber seal by pulling them in opposite directions
If the rubber seal has come off, simply take it and prepare it for reinstallation
Make sure the seal is aligned
Press it in while applying even pressure to both sides of the seal
Push toward the freehub body until properly seated
