Compatibility note: The MTB HG freehub on this hub is not compatible with 12-speed HG Road cassettes because the MTB HG freehub body is shorter.
OXO HB-104 Hub is designed to provide a quick pedaling response and smooth rotation. The rear hub uses a 6-pawl system with 114 engagement points, allowing pedaling power to be transferred more responsively. Equipped with 5 sealed bearings in the rear hub and 2 sealed bearings in the front hub, it provides stable rotation and greater resistance to dust and dirt.
The freehub uses an aluminum alloy body compatible with Shimano HG cassettes up to 12-speed (excluding 12-speed HG Road cassettes). This hub also supports ISO 6-bolt disc brakes and uses a quick-release standard, making it compatible with various bicycles that use a QR system.

Rear Hub (Freehub) Maintenance Note
Grease lubricates the parts that rub against each other in the freehub mechanism of the rear hub, helping to reduce friction and wear. Removing all the grease solely to achieve a louder sound is not recommended. Without adequate lubrication, components may wear out or become damaged more quickly, shortening their service life. Use the type and amount of lubricant recommended for product maintenance.
