Strummer HS-H5 Directset Headset
The Strummer Directset Headset is a headset with an integrated system, where the bearings are installed directly inside the head tube of the frame without using additional cups. This system provides a neater and more practical appearance for frames designed with integrated headset standards.
This headset uses sealed bearings that comply with JIS standards, with bearing material made of high carbon chromium steel. After undergoing heat treatment, the bearings have good hardness, uniform surface, and better stability and corrosion resistance.
At the top of the headset, there is an O-ring on the top cover to help reduce water ingress into the bearing area. The bolt section on the star nut cover is also equipped with a rubber protector, and there is a dust cover to help reduce the entry of dust and dirt into the components.
