Strummer Directset™, as the name suggests, means that the bearings go directly to the head tube. Campagnolo compatible. Compatible for 42 mm head tube with non-tapered fork.
The sealed bearings used in this headset adhere to JIS Standard, use high carbon chromium steel bearings. After heat treatment, the bearings produced have a high hardness, uniform surface, good stability, and corrosion resistance.
The top cover of the headset features an O-Ring to prevent water ingress into the bearings. Bolts on the star nut cover are also covered with rubber to further prevent water ingress. Dust cover is also used on the top cover of the headset. This prevents grime buildup in the components.
