The Alloy Stem Adapter ST-L124 is an adapter to convert the fork steerer tube size to 28.6 mm / 1-1/8 inch, allowing it to be used with ahead/threadless stems that have a clamp size of 28.6 mm.
This product is suitable for old bicycles or certain setups that still use forks with smaller steerer sizes but want to use modern 28.6 mm stems.
Two lower adapter size variants are available: 21.1 mm and 25.4 mm. Choose the variant according to the inner size of the steerer fork used.

Ensure the fork steerer size matches the selected adapter variant. The stem used must have a clamp size of 28.6 mm / 1-1/8 inch.
This product is not primarily for increasing stem height, although the stem position can change depending on the installation setup. The main focus of this product is converting the steerer size to accommodate a 28.6 mm stem.
