GENERAL INFORMATION
Strummer® Solidset™ 5.4 is a high-quality semi-integrated threadless headset with a simple design (also known as zero stack), for bicycles with straight (non-tapered) forks.
CUP & BEARING
Each cup is made from 6061 aluminum alloy, heat-treated to T6, then precision-machined with CNC equipment to produce a smooth and stable bearing seat surface.
The sealed bearings used in this headset meet JIS Standards and use high-carbon Chromium Steel bearings. After heat treatment, the bearings have high hardness, a uniform surface, good stability, and corrosion resistance.
WEATHER-RESISTANT DESIGN
The headset's top cover is equipped with an O-Ring to prevent water from entering the bearing. The bolt on the star nut cover is also coated with rubber to provide additional protection against water ingress.
A dust cover is also used on the headset's top cover to prevent dirt from accumulating on the components.
