Strummer Directset™, as the name suggests, means that the bearings are mounted directly in the head tube. Compatible with Campagnolo. Suitable for a 42 mm head tube with a non-tapered fork.
The sealed bearings used in this headset meet JIS Standards and use high-carbon Chromium Steel bearings. After heat treatment, the bearings have high hardness, a uniform surface, good stability, and corrosion resistance.
The headset top cover is equipped with an O-Ring to prevent water from entering the bearings. The bolt on the star nut cover is also rubber-coated to provide additional protection against water ingress. A dust cover is also used on the headset top cover to prevent dirt from accumulating on the components.
