This Strummer carbon spoke is designed with an extremely strong unidirectional carbon construction to withstand tensile forces. Its flattened center section improves aerodynamics and stiffness while cycling, resulting in more efficient power transfer.
Purchasing 1 spoke includes 1 set (1 Spoke & 1 Nipple).
Warnings & Special Precautions for Strummer Carbon Spokes! Read Before Repairing or Servicing the Product!
Strummer Straightpull carbon spokes use a different system from conventional spokes. With conventional spokes, tightening and loosening are performed from the inner diameter side of the rim. However, with Strummer carbon spokes, tightening and loosening from the inner diameter side of the rim is strictly prohibited, as this can damage the product and endanger the user's security and safety.
Two types of tools are required to tighten and loosen these spokes:
- 3.4 mm spoke holder - Example: Park Tool SW-22
- 5.5 mm Internal Spoke Nipple Wrench - Example: Park Tool SW-15
Steps:
- Spoke holder: Use a 3.4 mm spoke holder to hold the portion of the spoke that protrudes on the inner diameter side of the rim. Make sure the spoke does not move while being held.
- Tightening/loosening: Insert the 5.5 mm hex wrench from the outer diameter side of the rim to tighten or loosen the spoke as needed.
Very Important:
- Always use the appropriate tools to prevent damage to the spokes and rim.
- Follow these steps to ensure product longevity and user safety.
