Strummer® designed the hub to provide precise engagement and smooth rotation from the first use. Our mechanism works best when maintained with Strummer® Pawl & Ratchet Special Grease. This grease helps prevent oxidation & corrosion, reduces friction, and keeps water and environmental contaminants from entering the hub mechanism. The special formula in this grease allows it to perform in both extremely cold and hot temperatures.
