Recommended Tire Sizes
Outer tires with widths from 25 mm to 47 mm can be used on these rims. For the best performance, outer tires with widths of 25-28 mm can be used. Check the table provided by the tire manufacturer to ensure size compatibility.

It is not recommended to exceed the maximum inflation pressure stated on the tire and in the data below (follow the lower maximum limit).

25-29 mm (1-1.1 inches) = 7 bar (100 Psi)
30-34 mm (1.2-1.3 inches) = 5.75 bar (83 Psi)
35-39 mm (1.4-1.5 inches) = 4.25 bar (62 Psi)
40-44 mm (1.6-1.7 inches) = 3.5 bar (51 Psi)
45-47 mm (1.8-1.9 inches) = 3 bar (44 Psi)
Recommended Maximum Weight (Maximum System Weight)
The recommended maximum system weight is 135 kg. This is the total weight (Bicycle Weight + Rider/Cyclist Weight + Luggage Weight).
If the system weight exceeds 120 kg, it is recommended to use tires with a minimum width of 28 mm and a tire pressure not exceeding 100 Psi. More frequent servicing/inspection/checking of the wheelset is also strongly recommended for system weights exceeding 120 kg.

Braking on the Black-Rim Variant
Yes, the OXO R30X with a black rim can be used with rim brakes. However, braking performance is not as good as the variant with a silver CNC brake track. For rim brake use, we recommend the silver CNC variant.
