The latest hub from Strummer, featuring a ratchet mechanism with 80 engagement points and a 4.5° engagement angle. The high engagement rate makes the hub respond more quickly when pedaling resumes. This ratchet system also produces a distinctive, more pronounced coasting sound.
Designed for MTB bicycles with a QR skewer system, compatible with HG MTB cassettes, and using a Center Lock disc brake rotor system.

Rear Hub Maintenance Note (Freehub)
Grease lubricates the surfaces that rub against each other in the freehub mechanism of the rear hub, helping to reduce friction and wear. Removing all the grease solely to obtain a louder sound is not recommended. Without adequate lubrication, the components may wear out or become damaged more quickly, shortening their service life. Use the type and amount of lubricant recommended for product maintenance.

The included HM-375 bearings use steel.
Conversion to Thru Axle
At present, the HM-375 does not support conversion to a thru axle. Support for this conversion is currently being developed for future use.
