Strummer BT-10 Fluid Bike Trainer with Bluetooth Power Meter
Enjoy a more premium indoor training experience with the Strummer BT-10. Using a fluid resistance system, this trainer provides a smoother, more natural pedaling feel for indoor cycling workouts.
The BT-10 features a built-in Bluetooth-based power meter, allowing it to connect to a phone, tablet/iPad, or laptop for integration with indoor training apps such as Zwift and Rouvy. It can also connect to a Bluetooth-enabled Garmin cyclocomputer, which reads the trainer as a power meter.
Please note that the Strummer BT-10 does not yet support ERG mode or automatic resistance simulation that follows climbs in the app. This trainer reads the power output you generate while pedaling. For cadence data, you will need a separate cadence sensor.
Designed to accommodate various bicycle wheel sizes, from 26 inches to 29 inches, as well as 700c, making it suitable for many types of bicycles.
Compatibility
Strummer BT-10 is suitable for bicycles with a quick release skewer system on rear hubs measuring 10 × 135 mm to 10 × 142 mm.
For bicycles with a thru axle system, a separately sold 12 × 142 mm trainer-compatible axle is available, with the following options:

For bicycles with a 12 × 142 mm size, you need to check the pitch of your bicycle's thru axle first. The pitch information can usually be found on the thru axle, but the axle typically needs to be removed first so the text can be seen clearly.
If the axle pitch information is not available, we recommend:
- contacting your bicycle manufacturer or brand, or
- taking manual measurements
This is important so that you can choose the right trainer thru axle.
Bicycles with a 12 × 148 mm size are also supported, but require extra attention. First, make sure that your 12 × 148 mm bicycle can use the thru axle for bike trainer Strummer. The main things to check are the size and length of the thru axle.
If the axle is long enough for your bicycle, it can be used and the trainer can be installed. However, if the thru axle is too short, it cannot be used for that bicycle.
If you still want to use a trainer at home, but your bike cannot use a replacement thru-axle and therefore cannot be mounted on this trainer, particularly some bikes with a 12 × 148 mm standard, we recommend:

Usage Recommendations
For an optimal experience, we recommend using tires with a fine tread to achieve:
- less vibration
- less noise
- a more comfortable indoor training experience
Make sure the trainer is installed correctly and securely before use.
If you use a Strummer thru-axle trainer with the BT-10, make sure the spacer is installed correctly to maintain the required distance between the trainer's clamping system and the bike frame. This is important to help prevent scratches or damage to the frame.
Connecting to Garmin
If you use a Garmin cyclocomputer with Bluetooth, the BT-10 trainer can be connected as a power meter.
How to connect:
- Pedal the bike first to activate the trainer's sensor.
- Open the sensor menu on your Garmin device.
- Add the trainer as a power meter.
