Strummer star nut & compression is designed to securely hold your headset & stem securely to your carbon fork / steerer tube. Precision manufacturing allows the knurled surface of the compression device to press evenly against the inside surface of the steerer tube.
Our compression device length is quite long, at 52 mm. This allows the knurled surface to increase the grip on the inside of the carbon fork steerer tube. When installed properly, you won't need to worry when going through uneven surfaces.
As a cherry on top, we added a rubber on top (pun on purpose) of the bolt to prevent water ingress into your headset and bearings, which may degrade performance over time.
