On carbon fiber bicycle frames or forks, if there are no mounting bolts, this cage must be installed with cable ties. To avoid damage to the carbon, additional padding must be purchased to prevent damage to the carbon. Be careful not to tighten the cable ties too hard to avoid damaging the carbon.
