Strummer Traverse CF2 Carbon Gravel Frameset
Strummer Traverse CF2 is designed to deliver optimal performance in various conditions, from paved roads to gravel routes and rocky roads.
The frame and fork use Toray T800 carbon fiber to deliver a combination of stiffness, strength, low weight, and riding comfort.
The asymmetrical chainstay design helps increase stiffness on the drivetrain side, maintain stability on the non-drive side, and provide more optimal clearance for chainrings.
The top tube features a Vibration Dampening Zone designed to help reduce vibrations from the road surface, improving comfort on rough roads and long-distance gravel routes.
Integrated Downtube Storage
Traverse CF2 features internal storage in the downtube for carrying an inner tube, tire levers, repair tools, a compact pump, or other small items.
A specially designed storage bag that fits inside the downtube is included with the purchase.
Full Internal Cable Routing
The full internal cable routing system in the frame and fork creates a cleaner, neater look.
Traverse CF2 is compatible with mechanical, Shimano Di2, and SRAM AXS groupsets. The frame also supports the use of a dropper post with internal cable routing.
The product is sold as a frameset consisting of the frame and fork.

Product Weight
Actual weight may vary depending on frame size, color, and number of finishing layers.
Frame Weight, Size 52 ±1.15 kg
Fork Weight ±0.55 kg (including the thru axle)
Because the carbon frame and fork undergo production and finishing processes involving manual work, slight differences in weight and finish appearance may occur between individual products.
Tire Compatibility Notes
Maximum tire clearance may be affected by:
-
Actual tire size after installation
-
Internal rim width
-
Tire casing shape and tread pattern
-
Tire pressure
-
Production tolerances of each tire brand
Tires with the same labeled size may not have the same actual width once installed. Ensure adequate clearance between the tires and the frame and fork before riding the bicycle.

Size Selection Guide
| Size | Recommended Rider Height | Estimated Minimum Inseam |
|---|---|---|
| 490 / Small | 165–174 cm | Approximately 79 cm |
| 520 / Medium | 172–180 cm | Approximately 81 cm |
| 550 / Large | 180–186 cm | Approximately 85 cm |
The height ranges overlap because size selection is also influenced by inseam length, torso length, arm length, body flexibility, and the desired riding position.
Prioritize inseam length and standover clearance. As a guide, leave approximately 20–30 mm between your crotch and the top tube when standing over the bicycle.
If your height falls within an overlapping range:
-
Choose a smaller size for a lower position and more agile handling.
-
Choose a larger size for a higher front-end position and more stable riding characteristics.
Stem size, crank length, handlebar width, number of spacers, and saddle position can also affect comfort and riding position.
Installation and Usage Notes
Use a torque wrench when installing components on the carbon frame and fork. Do not exceed the torque limits specified by the frame or component manufacturer.
The front thru-axle installation torque limit is 10 Nm.
Installation of the frameset and all its components is recommended to be carried out by an experienced bicycle mechanic.
