Strummer star nut & compression is designed to securely hold your headset & stem to your carbon fork / steerer tube. Precision manufacturing allows the knurled surface of the compression device to press evenly against the inside surface of the steerer tube.
Our compression device is quite long, at 52 mm. This allows the knurled surface to increase its grip on the inside of the carbon fork steerer tube. When installed properly, you won't need to worry when riding over uneven surfaces.
As a cherry on top, we added a rubber seal on top (pun intended) of the bolt to prevent water ingress into your headset and bearings, which may degrade performance over time.
