Strummer GVL32 Fork
The Strummer GVL32 fork is designed for road and gravel bikes that need additional comfort, control, and stability when riding over rough road surfaces, paving, light gravel, or uneven routes.
With 40 mm, 50 mm, and 60 mm travel options, the GVL32 helps absorb vibrations without excessively changing the character of a road/gravel bike. The shorter travel keeps handling stable and controlled, unlike MTB forks, which generally have longer travel and different handling characteristics.
This fork uses an air suspension with lockout system, allowing the air pressure to be adjusted according to the system weight, riding style, and route conditions.
To inflate the fork, simply open the valve cover by hand. No special tool is required to open the cover.

Cable System Variants
The Strummer GVL32 fork is available in two cable system variants. Make sure to choose the variant that suits your frame design and installation requirements.
1. Internal Cable
The internal cable variant has a hole in the steerer tube, allowing the brake cable to enter through the headset area and pass through the inside of the steerer tube.
The cable then exits through a hole at the bottom of the steerer tube before reaching the brake caliper.
This variant is suitable for frames that support an internal cable routing system and provides a cleaner, more minimalist bicycle appearance.

2. External Cable
The external cable variant does not have a hole in the steerer tube. The brake cable is installed along the outside of the fork.

This variant is simpler to install and suitable for frames that do not support internal cable routing.

Air Pressure Recommendations
The following air pressure recommendations are initial guidelines. Adjustments can still be made according to the rider's preferences, terrain, and riding style.

How to Add Air
- Open the fork valve cap by hand.
- Connect the shock pump to the valve.
- Fill the air pressure according to the initial recommendation.
- Adjust the pressure if the fork feels too stiff or too soft.
- Once finished, remove the shock pump and reinstall the valve cap.
Note: Use a shock pump, not a regular tire pump, for more precise pressure adjustment.

Important Note
