Strummer BT-10 Fluid Bike Trainer with Bluetooth Power Meter
Experience a more premium indoor training experience with the Strummer BT-10. Using a fluid resistance system, this trainer provides a smoother, more natural pedaling feel for indoor cycling workouts.
The BT-10 is equipped with a Bluetooth-based built-in power meter, allowing it to connect to a mobile phone, tablet/iPad, or laptop for integration with indoor training apps such as Zwift and Rouvy. The trainer can also connect to a Bluetooth-enabled Garmin cyclocomputer, which reads the trainer as a power meter.
Please note that the Strummer BT-10 does not support ERG mode and does not support automatic resistance simulation that follows inclines in the app. This trainer functions by reading the power output you generate while pedaling. For cadence data, you will need a separate cadence sensor.
Designed to accommodate various bicycle wheel sizes, from 26 inches to 29 inches, as well as 700c, making it suitable for many types of bicycles.
Compatibility
The Strummer BT-10 is suitable for bicycles with a quick release skewer system on rear hubs sized from 10 × 135 mm to 10 × 142 mm.
For bicycles with a thru axle system, a separate 12 × 142 mm trainer-compatible axle is available for purchase, with the following options:

For bicycles with a 12 × 142 mm size, you need to check the pitch of your bicycle’s thru axle first. The pitch information is usually visible on the thru axle, but the axle typically needs to be removed first so the writing can be seen clearly.
If the axle pitch information is unavailable, we recommend:
- contacting your bicycle manufacturer/brand, or
- taking a manual measurement
This is important so that you can choose the appropriate trainer thru axle.
Bikes with a 12 × 148 mm size can also be supported, but require extra attention. First, check whether your 12 × 148 mm bike can use the thru axle for bike trainer Strummer. The main things to check are the size and length of the thru axle.
If the axle is long enough for your bike, it can be used and the trainer can be installed. However, if the thru axle is too short, it cannot be used for that bike.
If you still want to use a trainer at home, but your bike cannot use the replacement thru axle and therefore cannot be installed on this trainer, especially some bikes with a 12 × 148 mm standard, we recommend:

Usage Recommendations
For an optimal experience, we recommend using tires with a smooth tread to achieve:
- less vibration
- lower noise
- a more comfortable indoor training experience
Make sure the trainer is installed correctly and securely before use.
If you are using the Strummer thru axle trainer with the BT-10, make sure the spacer is installed correctly to maintain the necessary distance between the trainer clamping system and the bike frame. This is important to help prevent scratches or damage to the frame.
Connecting to Garmin
If you are using a Garmin cyclocomputer with Bluetooth, the BT-10 trainer can be connected as a power meter.
How to connect:
- Pedal the bike first to activate the trainer's sensor.
- Open the sensor menu on your Garmin device.
- Add the trainer as a power meter.
