The Strummer HR-10 Ratchet is one of the best hubs in its class for your road bike (with a rim brake mechanism). Designed to be fast on the road, agile through corners, light on climbs, and durable enough to handle water, dust, and various other conditions. The 36T ratchet mechanism propels the bike forward with a 10° engagement angle and delivers solid power transfer from the pedals to the wheel.
This ratchet mechanism can be upgraded to 60T for a faster response when starting to pedal from a standstill. Upgrading to a 60T star ratchet reduces the engagement angle to 6°.
Each hub is precisely manufactured using a combination of AL6061-T6 and AL7075-T6 alloys, then undergoes surface finishing and anodizing according to our high standards. Our hub range offers a variety of options and accessories to accommodate different axle sizes, spoke hole counts, disc brake rotor mounts, cassette sprocket systems, and colors.
