The V2 version indicates that this is our second generation of brake calipers with improved performance, durability, and design.

The direction of cable pull is designed to minimize bends (which affect performance) when the caliper is attached to the bicycle frame with an internal cable design.
Dual-Action piston pads for braking performance. One piston on each side. Upgraded V2 hybrid rubber seals. Synchronous movement (pistons moving together).
Improved seals, durability, resistance, and braking power.
Aerodynamic design. This new design positions the cable inside the chain-stay/seat-stay. This enhances aerodynamics and compatibility. This caliper can be installed on bicycles with aggressive/low seat-stay angles.
CNC Machined body to reduce unnecessary parts (Weight Reduction). CNC machining also enhances product precision, accuracy, and finishing.
