Strummer BT-10 Fluid Bike Trainer with Bluetooth Power Meter
Experience a more premium indoor training experience with Strummer BT-10. Using a fluid resistance system, this trainer provides a smoother and more natural pedaling sensation for indoor cycling workouts.
BT-10 comes with a built-in Bluetooth power meter, allowing it to connect to smartphones, tablets/iPads, or laptops for integration with indoor training applications such as Zwift and Rouvy. This trainer can also connect to Garmin cyclocomputers that support Bluetooth, reading the trainer as a power meter.
It should be noted that Strummer BT-10 does not yet support ERG mode and does not yet support automatic resistance simulation following inclines in applications. This trainer functions to read the power output you generate while pedaling. For cadence data, you will need a separate cadence sensor.
Designed to accommodate various bike wheel sizes, ranging from 26 inches to 29 inches, as well as 700c, making it suitable for many types of bicycles.
Compatibility
Strummer BT-10 is suitable for bicycles with a quick release skewer on the rear hub size 10 × 135 mm to 10 × 142 mm.

For bikes with a size of 12 × 142 mm, you need to check the pitch of your bike's thru axle first. Usually, pitch information can be found on the thru axle, but the axle often needs to be removed first for the writing to be clearly visible.
If there is no pitch information on the axle, we recommend:
- contacting your bike manufacturer/brand, or
- performing manual measurements
This is important so you can choose the appropriate thru axle trainer.
Bikes with a size of 12 × 148 mm can also be supported, but extra attention is needed. First, ensure whether your bike 12 × 148 mm can use the thru axle for bike trainer Strummer. The main thing to check is the size and length of the thru axle.
If the axle length is sufficient for your bike, then the axle can be used and the trainer can be installed. However, if the thru axle is too short, then that axle cannot be used for that bike.
If you still want to use the trainer at home, but your bike cannot use a replacement thru axle so it cannot be mounted on this trainer, especially on some bikes with a 12 × 148 mm standard, we recommend:

Usage Recommendations
For a more optimal usage experience, we recommend using tires with fine tread to:
- minimized vibrations
- lower noise
- a more comfortable indoor training experience
Ensure the trainer is installed correctly and securely before use.
If you are using a Strummer thru axle trainer on the BT-10, ensure that the spacer is installed correctly to maintain the necessary distance between the trainer clamp system and the bike frame. This is important to help prevent scratches or damage to the frame.
Connection with Garmin
If you are using a Garmin cyclocomputer with Bluetooth features, the BT-10 trainer can be connected as a power meter.
How to connect:
- Pedal the bike first to activate the sensor on the trainer.
- Open the sensor menu on your Garmin device.
- Add the trainer as a power meter.
