* Material strength testing was performed using Westcott Titanium scissors. The scissors were in a closed position. The rim tape was placed on a thick padding. The scissors were pressed against the back surface of the bar tape (which contains glue). The result of the test was that the Strummer rim tape was deformed (but not torn). ). On other brands of bar tape, it has torn without experiencing significant deformation.
