Designed for high speeds on smooth roads, yet strong enough to handle rough gravel surfaces. This hub features the latest 54T ratchet mechanism. This mechanism has been designed to be faster and better than the previous version. It provides 6.7° degrees of engagement & efficient power transfer from the pedals to the wheelset.
The ratchet mechanism can be increased to 60T, resulting in a quicker response when pedaling from a stop. The 60T star ratchet upgrade will speed up the degrees of engagement to a very responsive 6°.
