Kennardi's Experience Using the Strummer Aeroflow Xtreme D40 HR-700 (Carbon Spoke) Wheelset

Kennardi finally decided to upgrade his wheelset to the Strummer Aeroflow Xtreme D40 HR-700. This wheelset is truly a complete package: Strummer carbon straightpull spokes, Strummer HR-700 hubs, and 40mm high rims that look dashing and aerodynamic. Once installed, the first impression was immediately solid!

Tire installation? Much easier than the previous wheelset. Plus, the stiffness is really high, but still feels comfortable when combined with supple tires. The combination  which is good for both comfort and performance.

Photo 3: Coffee Ride

Drama occurred during the coffee ride. Due to the suboptimal rear derailleur setting, the gearing was stuck at 50/17 and 34/17. But who would have thought, Kennardi actually managed to score personal best on this route! And on the climbs, this wheelset really shines, providing a much more responsive feel than the old wheelset.

Another advantage? Sound  produced by the mechanism  Strummer's latest 54T star ratchet (Generation 2)! This sound makes Kennardi even more excited  enjoy on the road.  The wet route during the rainy season and passing through damaged asphalt was also successfully passed smoothly, without any problems. In fact,  rim height 40 mm  it remains stable, not much affected by sidewind.
